Day 0: Delhi to Rishikesh (Night Journey)

Departure: 9:00 PM – Board your bus or private vehicle from Delhi.
Route: Delhi → Meerut → Roorkee → Haridwar → Rishikesh.
Travel Duration: Approximately 6–7 hours.
Overnight Journey: Rest and sleep during the travel.

Day 1: Rishikesh to Sari/Chopta

Arrival in Rishikesh: 5:00 AM – Reach Rishikesh, freshen up, and enjoy breakfast.
Departure for Sari Village: 7:00 AM – Begin your drive to Sari Village.
Route: Rishikesh → Devprayag → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Ukhimath → Sari.
Distance: 190 km.
Travel Duration: 6–7 hours by road.
En Route Stops:

  • Devprayag: Stop for photos at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers.

  • Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Srinagar or Rudraprayag.
    Arrival at Sari Village: 2:00 PM – Check in at your guesthouse or campsite.
    Optional Activity: Short hike to Deoria Tal (2 km, easy trek) for a serene lake view surrounded by Himalayan peaks.
    Return to Sari: 6:00 PM – Relax at the campsite or explore the village.
    Dinner: 8:00 PM – Served at your stay in Sari.
    Overnight Stay: Guesthouse or campsite in Sari Village.

Day 2: Chopta to Tungnath Chandrashila

Chopta to Tungnath–Chandrashila Trek and Return to Sari

Early Morning (6:00 AM): Enjoy breakfast at your guesthouse or campsite.
Drive to Chopta (7:00 AM): A short and scenic 30-minute drive covering 7 km from Sari to Chopta.
Trek Begins (8:00 AM): Start your trek from Chopta towards Tungnath Temple (3.5 km, moderate trail).
Altitude (Tungnath): 3,680 m | Trekking Time: 2–3 hours.
Visit Tungnath Temple (10:30 AM): Offer prayers at the world’s highest Shiva temple.
Continue to Chandrashila Peak (11:00 AM): Trek 1.5 km further to reach the summit.
Altitude (Chandrashila): 4,000 m | Trekking Time: 45 min–1 hour.
Summit View: Witness a breathtaking 360° panorama of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar Peak, Chaukhamba, and Bandarpunch ranges.
Descend to Chopta (12:30 PM): Begin your return trek.
Lunch Break (2:00 PM): Relish a local meal at a dhaba or enjoy your packed lunch at Chopta.
Drive Back (3:00 PM): Return to Sari or stay in Chopta for relaxation.
Evening Leisure (5:00 PM): Unwind around the campfire or explore the peaceful surroundings.

Day 3: Sari Village to Rishikesh/ Delhi

Drive Route: Sari → Ukhimath → Rudraprayag → Srinagar → Devprayag → Rishikesh.

Who Can Participate

Age Requirement: Minimum 9 years.

Experience: First-timers are welcome; prior trekking experience is an advantage.

• Fitness Criteria:
Should be able to jog 5 km in 35 minutes without stress, OR 10 km in 80 minutes without stress.
If cycling, should be able to cover 10 km in 30 minutes comfortably.

• Backpack Capacity:
If carrying own backpack – should manage 10–12 kg load.
If opting for off-loading – should be able to carry a 3–5 kg daypack.

• Health & BMI:
Trekkers should ideally have a BMI between 18–29.
If outside this range, please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.
